API's Priceline Pharmacy has been announced as Premier Partner for Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the next three years.

As part of this extended team sponsorship, Priceline Pharmacy is also the new naming rights sponsor of the stadium that will now be known as Priceline Stadium.

According to Managing Director and CEO, Stephen Roche, “Given we are a brand for women, Priceline Pharmacy is proud to support the most popular female sport in Australia and our partnership with the Adelaide Thunderbirds provides the perfect opportunity to amplify the importance of women’s health and wellbeing.”

API is the operator of several well-known pharmacy brands, including Soul Pattinson and Pharmacist Advice, but has recently focussed on growing Priceline and in particular its health-related retail offering.

Netball SA CEO, Ben Scales, described the partnership as synergistic.

"...we share similar values with a focus on encouraging women to be healthy and physically active. This is a significant investment in netball and will assist us in providing opportunities for the community to participate in the sport, from grass roots right through to the elite level,” he said.

Netball SA has over 30,000 registered netballers, and each year over 300,000 people will pass through Priceline Stadium.

The Adelaide Thunderbirds will continue as prominent ambassadors for Priceline Pharmacy and will appear in-store, in television commercials and play a role in key Priceline Pharmacy initiatives including the upcoming health-focussed campaign, The Beauty of Health and the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.
