Significant change for the office of Health Minister Sussan Ley with the confirmed post-election departure of five staff.
The departures were headlined by chief of staff Craig Bosworth, who has been replaced by senior Department of Health official Dr Lisa Studdert. It is thought Dr Studdert's appointment is focussed on supporting Minister Ley to navigate the Mid Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook.
Other major departures include senior adviser James McAdam, along with advisers Sparrow, Kinsela and Speers. Highly regarded PBS adviser Alex Best remains in the office.
The departures are understood to be for a variety of reasons, including natural post-election turnover, but could signal a new approach by the minister's office.
