Israel is close to fully vaccinating half of its population with over 47 per cent of its citizens having received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The US has fully vaccinated 12 per cent of its population while the UK, which was one of the first countries to launch a national immunisation program, has focused on administering a first dose to as many people as possible and extending the time to the second dose.
